The Dissemination on "Public Financial Management ReformProgram of the Royal Government of Cambodia" at Mean Chey University
On the morning of Monday, December 25, 2017, the General Secretariat of the Financial Management Reform Committee of the Ministry of Economy and Finance organized a program on "Public Financial Management Reform Program of the Royal Government of Cambodia" for lecturers, staff and students of Mean Chey University. The program was presided over by H.E. Dr. Hel Chamroeun, Undersecretary of state of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Deputy Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the Committee for the Public Financial Management Reform. This event were participated by Mr. Ngor Mengchruon, Deputy Governor of Province, and was attended by the directors, deputy directors and officials working in the administrative-finance departments and institutions across the province. His Excellency Sam Nga, Rector of Mean Chey University, contributed that the Public Financial Management Reform Program, being divided into four phases, was promulgated in 2004 by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Currently, the reform program is in Phase 3 which links the Budget to policy and it is the most important phase. One of the successful determinants of the Financial Management Reform Program is the awareness, the recognition of the need and the implementation of the reform process by the public and the civil servants of all levels.
